Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role.
Responsibilities include treating patients on-site for approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, focusing on medically complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. The role involves both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, along with active case management and communication with employers.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the practice state, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery. Malpractice insurance is required. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
