The Advanced Nurse Clinician/Physician Assistant provides patient assessments, administers treatments following physician orders or standard practices, and advises patients or their legal guardians on health issues.
Supervised by a licensed physician, with responsibilities including clinical evaluations and patient counseling. Does not practice obtaining informed consent. Demonstrates understanding of psychosocial needs and the impact of technology on patient care. Requirements: Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Licensed to practice in Tennessee. 1-3 years of experience preferred. Location & Schedule: Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Endocrinology; Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
