We are seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour weekly or biweekly shifts. The role involves managing complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical teams to deliver non-surgical and surgical treatments for work-related injuries, including case management and communication with employers.
Responsibilities include flexible scheduling, typically half a day per week or biweekly, with compensation based on revenue share.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries preferred
• Licensure in the state of practice
• MD or DO graduate from an accredited program
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance required
