Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. The position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your existing practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and providing both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. Collaboration with medical and therapy providers and active case management are key components.
Qualifications include licensure in the state, graduate from an accredited MD or DO program, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, and medical malpractice insurance. Preferred experience with work-related injuries.
