Provides medical evaluations for alleged child abuse victims as part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Executive Director.
Requires a Certified Nurse Practitioner license with preferred specialty training in child abuse.
Must have at least one year of pediatric clinical experience; licensure to practice in Pennsylvania is required.
Responsibilities include conducting exams, taking histories, documenting findings, obtaining lab tests and imaging, and preparing detailed reports.
Collaborates with other professionals, communicates with external personnel, and participates in supervision, training, and quality assurance activities.
Engages in ongoing education, research, and peer review to ensure high-quality care.
