Seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, on-site role. This position involves treating patients for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, focusing on managing complex medical cases, facilitating return to work, and functional restoration. The role includes providing services such as EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, collaborating with medical and therapy teams, and engaging in case management with employers.
Responsibilities:
• Half-day weekly or biweekly schedule
• Flexible hours to complement private practice
• Compensation based on a revenue share model
Qualifications:
• Experience in work-related injury treatment preferred
• State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Board Certification or Eligibility in PM&R
• Medical Malpractice Insurance required
