Provides medical evaluations for alleged child abuse victims as part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Executive Director.
Requires a Certified Nurse Practitioner license with preferred specialty training in child abuse.
Performs physical exams, takes histories, documents findings, and conducts diagnostic tests, including colposcopic evaluations and photography.
Prepares timely, detailed, legally acceptable reports with findings and treatment recommendations, collaborating with community professionals.
Participates in supervision, peer review, ongoing training, and quality assurance activities to ensure best practices.
