The Nurse Manager oversees all functions of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Provides support for staffing, productivity, compliance, and resource management. Collaborates with leadership to manage census, surge plans, and service line adjustments. Leads nursing staff development, onboarding, and professional growth initiatives. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and manages environment of care reviews. Optimizes staffing, equipment, and supplies within budget constraints. Fosters a positive team environment, promotes service excellence, and models professional behavior. Requires a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, RN licensure, Associate’s degree (required), and Bachelor’s preferred. Full-time, varies schedule at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in WV.
