This position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current unrestricted licensure in Tennessee, and national certification in a nursing specialty. Additional certifications include prescriptive authority, ACLS, and BLS.
Must have 1 to 3 years of healthcare experience, with preferred prior critical acute care or Nurse Practitioner experience. Skills include assessment of critically ill patients, intubation, line placements, ventilator management, and excellent communication.
The role is based in the Pulmonology Unit at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, working full-time days Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
