We are seeking a dedicated mental health professional to provide multi-systemic therapy to juvenile offenders with severe mental health issues, violent behaviors, or substance use challenges, aiming to prevent out-of-home placement.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, preparing court reports, and offering crisis intervention and brief assessments. The role may involve transportation and requires availability outside standard hours by phone.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field
- Licensed by Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, LPC)
- Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements and become fully licensed within 30 months
- 1-2 years experience with children/adolescents with serious mental illness or antisocial behaviors
- Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational, and independent work skills
- Reliable transportation and a safe driving record
