Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop personalized treatment plans.
Assist residents in improving cognition and swallowing, providing skilled therapy and education to residents, families, and caregivers.
Implement augmentative communication systems and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation, communicate resident changes, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and professional standards.
Coordinate training with care staff and respond promptly to family concerns.
Requirements include an active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA certification.
