Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join our dynamic in-house rehab team as a Speech Language Pathologist and make a difference in residents’ lives with compassionate, innovative care.

  • Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Assist residents in improving cognition and swallowing, providing skilled therapy and education to residents, families, and caregivers.
  • Implement augmentative communication systems and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, communicate resident changes, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Coordinate training with care staff and respond promptly to family concerns.
  • Requirements include an active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA certification.
