This Nurse Practitioner position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients at a medical center’s Pulmonology Unit.
Assist with patient admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other duties within scope of practice. Collaborate with Pulmonary Service Line physicians and other providers. Require graduate-level nursing or Physician Assistant education, current Tennessee licensure, national certification, and continuing education. Possess prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care skills (e.g., intubation, line placements, ventilator management), and adherence to protocols. Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications, with 1-3 years of critical care experience preferred. Work full-time days, Monday through Friday, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
