This Nurse Practitioner position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients.
They assist with admissions, patient rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure, and national certification in a specialty area.
Prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care procedures (e.g., intubation, line placement, ventilator management), and ACLS/BLS certification are required.
Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, with previous critical care or nurse practitioner experience preferred.
Work location is at a medical center’s Pulmonology Unit, with a full-time, daytime schedule Monday to Friday.
