The Nurse Manager, under the Nurse Director’s guidance, oversees all unit functions, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
• Coordinates staffing, admission processes, and surge plans, collaborating with leadership to adapt to changing census and service needs.
• Supports staff development through onboarding, orientation, and continuing education, modeling professionalism and promoting specialty certifications.
• Manages problem-solving, compliance, and resource utilization to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory adherence.
• Fosters employee and physician engagement, promotes service excellence aligned with core values, and maintains a positive work environment.
• Requires at least 3 years of clinical experience, a valid RN license, and a relevant associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Leadership experience is preferred.
• Full-time position at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, WV, with a variable schedule.
