This position supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, and discharges under the scope of practice.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current unrestricted Tennessee licensure, and national certification in a specialty area. Prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care procedures (e.g., intubation, line placements, ventilator management), and excellent communication skills are essential. ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, with previous critical care experience. The role is full-time, dayshift, Monday through Friday, located in the Pulmonology Unit at a medical center.
