Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join our dynamic IN-HOUSE rehab team as a Speech Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact in residents’ lives.

  • Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Help residents improve cognition and swallowing functions through skilled therapy.
  • Provide education for residents, families, and caregivers, and train staff in related care techniques.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures like MBSS and FEES, and coordinate care with other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, communicate resident status changes, and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Qualifications include an active Texas license, current ASHA certification, and good standing with regulatory agencies.
