Full-time Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist position in Greenville, NC, offering potential partnership and a signing bonus.
Provide anesthesia for cardiac (excluding transplants) and general surgeries, including CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs, and ECMO, within a Level 1 Trauma Center setting. Supervise and collaborate with anesthesia team, conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, and monitor intra- and post-operative care. Perform procedures such as arterial/venous punctures, airway management, and anesthesia adjustments, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Mentor residents and staff, maintain detailed records, and coordinate with surgical teams. Requires MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, cardiothoracic fellowship, NC license, and 3+ years of high-acuity experience. Strong communication and safety skills essential. Schedule involves Monday-Friday with call obligations, including overnight and weekend shifts.
