We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour weekly or biweekly shifts, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return-to-work, and collaborating with medical teams on both surgical and non-surgical treatments for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management are essential.
Qualifications include experience with work injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery, and malpractice insurance.
