The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with standards on a shift-to-shift basis.
Practices autonomously within professional, regulatory, and organizational policies. Develops collaborative practice, demonstrates cultural sensitivity, and actively participates in quality improvement and LEAN initiatives. Serves as a role model, mentor, and resource, supporting staff education and professional development. Facilitates communication within the team and with interdisciplinary teams, resolving conflicts as needed. Assists in patient assignments, planning, and evaluation of nursing care, while promoting patient-centered practices. Contributes to staff mentoring, performance monitoring, and participates in hospital committees and projects. Requires a valid RN license, relevant clinical experience, and certifications like BLS and ACLS; BSN preferred. Work is scheduled night shifts with rotating weekends, no travel required. Overall, the role emphasizes leadership in clinical practice, staff development, quality improvement, and fostering a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
