Speech Language Pathologist

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist diagnoses and treats students with communicative challenges to support their learning.

  • Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs).
  • Provides remediation through individual and group therapy, modifying instruction as needed.
  • Serves as a resource for staff and parents, offering consultation and inservice training.
  • Maintains compliance with regulations, keeps detailed records, and pursues ongoing professional development.
  • Requires appropriate California credential and can work part-time or full-time, with benefits including insurance, paid time off, and continuing education.

  • Position involves in-person work in San Jose, CA, with a standard weekday schedule.
