The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA is responsible for the 24-hour operation of a clinical department, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Defines and maintains standards for safety, quality, and performance improvement. Develops, manages, and evaluates staff performance and promotes a culture of innovation and excellence. Utilizes advanced nursing and management skills to optimize clinical operations, fiscal management, and resource utilization. Supports shared leadership, fosters team development, and participates in organizational committees and initiatives. Maintains current evidence-based nursing practices and models professional leadership. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), RN licensure, and relevant clinical and supervisory experience. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required. The role is based at Johnson City Medical Center with a day shift and no travel or weekends involved.
