We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with cardiac training or TEE experience for our Hickory division, covering two hospitals and four surgery centers.
Provide anesthesia for a variety of outpatient and inpatient procedures, including cardiac cases like CABGs, valves, and TAVR programs.
Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor intraoperative and post-operative recovery.
Supervise certified registered nurse anesthetists, mentored interns, residents, and fellows.
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, venous/arterial access, airway management, and post-op care.
Maintain detailed records, order tests, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Qualifications include MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, NC license, 3+ years of high-acuity experience, and strong regional skills.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety are essential. The role offers potential partnership and requires working in a team-oriented, sometimes stressful environment.
