Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for 16-30 hours/week in Long Beach, CA, combining onsite and virtual work to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment for youth within a behavioral health program.
Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, offering follow-up and education to clients and families.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and case managers, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Maintain clinical documentation within established timelines using electronic health records.
Provide coverage for absent psychiatrists and uphold a strengths-based, community-focused approach aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience with diverse youth populations.
