Family Practice Obstetrics Provider

The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.

  • Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.
  • Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.
  • Care for newborns and pediatric patients within a family-centered approach.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives.
  • Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage.
  • Contribute to hospital call schedules for labor and delivery, including weekends and nights.

  • Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, additional obstetric training, a valid medical license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
